Sam Moberly, 69, of Adairville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020 at his home. He was born in Danville on Oct. 1, 1950 to the late Austin Moberly and Helen Grubbs Moberly. He was a truck driver with the Carpenter Co, for 37 years. He was a member of Berea Christian Church where he served as an elder and was a former Sunday School teacher. He was also a former Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Moberly; his sons, Curt Moberly and Craig Moberly, both of Russellville; his daughters, Kacy Richardson and husband Ben of Manhattan, Kan., Kim Johnson and husband Mike of Loveland, Ohio, and Erin McReynolds and husband Gregg of Bowling Green; his brothers, Benny Moberly and wife Andrea and Smiley Moberly and wife Jeannie, all of Russellville; his sisters, Peggy Sue Vincent and Patty Martin and husband Jackie, all of Russellville; and 13 grandchildren.

A public graveside service for Sam Moberly will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, at the Whippoorwill Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be no public visitation held before the graveside service. Please observe the CDC guidelines of six feet social distancing and wearing of face coverings.

Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
