Evelyn Sue Bilyeu, 78, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. She was born in Cookeville, Tenn. on July 11, 1941 to the late Forest Thomas Smith and Margie Smith Halleran. She retired from Rockwell International and as the custodian of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church for over 60 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Verdie Ozell Bilyeu.

She is survived by her daughters, Rosella Clark and Brian of Russellville and Diane Dennison and David of Lewisburg; her brothers, Clarence Smith and Lucy of Paris, Tenn. and Don Smith and Daphne of Cookeville, Tenn.; her sister, Betty Smith of Cookeville; her grandchildren, Justin Clark and Sarah of Russellville and Chelsea Whitley and Curt of Bowling Green: and her great-grandchildren, Reiland Whitley, Sophia Whitley, Triston Tidwell and Gwen Clark

Private graveside services for Evelyn Sue Bilyeu will be conducted for the family at Oak Grove Cemetery with Bro. Gene Bracken officiating. 

Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
