Douglas Young, 89, of Winter Park, Fla., formerly of Russellville, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 in Winter Park. He worked as a lobbyist for the Small Business Administration which he helped form. He was a lifetime member of the Elk Club and Moose Club. He was an avid antique car collector and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his sister, Loretta Y. Solis of Winter Park; his nephews, Gonzalo Solis and Alejandro Solis; his niece, Jacqueline Solis Higelin; his great-nephews, Jonathan and Alexis; his great-nieces, Lizabeth and Mary; and his beloved cousins.
Private funeral services for Douglas Young will be held with Kenny Gregory officiating and burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
