John B. Hudson, 98, of Lexington, formerly of Russellville, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 at Baptist Health in Lexington. He was a North Vernon, Ind. native, born Dec. 9, 1921 to the late Roe Hudson and Grace Fewell Hudson. He attended the University of Kentucky where he obtained his B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, then worked as an Electrical Engineer for TVA. He was a World War II Army Veteran, former member of Russellville American Legion Post 29, member of Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Versailles, and a former member of First Baptist Church, Sixth and Main Streets in Russellville.

He is survived by his daughter, Becky Prater and husband of David Sr.; his grandchildren, David Prater and Amelia of Fulton and Callie Freeman and Lt. Col. Heath Freeman of Portland, Ore.; and his great-grandchildren, Emerson Freeman and Everett Hudson Freeman of Oregon.

Private graveside services for John B. Hudson will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery.
