Mary H. Poore, 92, of Russellville, formerly of Olmstead, passed away Friday April 10, 2020 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Marion on July 25, 1927 to the late Robert Fulton Haynes Jr. and Virginia Hill Haynes. She worked with the Crittenden County Extension Agency for several years, she also worked as a Clerk with Moore Business Forms Inc., she was a member of Dripping Spring Baptist Church, and she was an Associate Member of Marion United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working with rabbits and ducks and was a free-lance artist. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allie Poore.
She is survived by her step-sons, Russell Poore and Patsy of Russellville and Billy Poore and Diane of Olmstead; her step-daughter, Gwen Arnold and Douglas Ray of Lake Wales, Fla.; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid–19 funeral restrictions, a private service for Mary H. Poore will be held at Dripping Spring Cemetery. Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
