Maxine Whitman, 85, of West 9th Street, Russellville, passed away Friday, Oct. 10, 2014 at Logan Memorial Hospital. She was an Illinois native, born to the late Milton Knox and Emily Fox Knox.
She was a homemaker and is survived by her son ~ Kim Whitman (Robin) ~ Russellville; her daughter ~ Sherry Berry ~ Illinois; her brothers ~ Henry Knox and Kenneth Knox ~ both of Peoria, Ill.; her 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren
Graveside services for Maxine Whitman will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, in the Gordonsville Cemetery with Bro. Johnny Fuller officiating. There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
