Jewell Wayne Johnson, 86, of Lewisburg, died on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Creekwood Place in Russellville.
He was born Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1933 in Logan County, the son of the late James Johnson and the late Neva Thornberry Johnson. He was the husband of the late Jeweldyne Johnson.
He was a retired foreman at the Nelson Company of Kentucky and a farmer.
He was a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church, the Lewisburg Masonic Lodge 324 F&AM and the Shriners - Madisonville Lodge
Surviving are his sons, Tim Johnson (Lisa) of Dunmor and Brent Holsclaw (Sandy) of Bardstown; his daughters, Cheryl Kelley (Gary) of Lewisburg and Vicki Gregory (Steve) of Lewisburg; his sister, Deloris Harris of Lewisburg; and 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Elk Lick Baptist Church located at 6904 Green Ridge Spa Road, Lewisburg, with Bro. Chris Odle, Bro. Art Hatfield, Bro. Jeremy Johnston and Brent Holsclaw officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery.
A Masonic Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 9, at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Monday, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, at Elk Lick Baptist Church.
