Sarah Elizabeth Southerland, 81, of Russellville, died on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Creekwood Place in Russellville.
She was born Saturday, Sept. 24, 1938 in Quality, the daughter of the late Theron Forgy and the late Thelma Givens. She was the wife of the late Clayborn Southerland.
She was an accountant at Williams, Walker, and Horton CPA and was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Michael Southerland (Connie) of Russellville, Robert Southerland and Andy Southerland (Madge); her brothers, Reed Forgy of Quality and Bill Forgy of Pontiac, Mich.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at Post Oak Baptist Church, with Bro. Nick Stamps and Sheldon Baugh officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Russellville.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, at Post Oak Baptist Church and on Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be sent to Post Oak Baptist Church Building Fund, 900 Bluegrass Avenue Russellville 42276.
