Margaret Jean Nash Stuart, 86, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.She was a Logan County native, born January 29, 1933 to the late Elmer Nash and Ruth Williams Nash. She was a bookkeeper for over 50 years at various local businesses and retired from Johnson’s Ag Center. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, a loving mother, perfect Memaw and wonderful homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Curtis Ray Stuart; her sons, Mike Stuart and wife Betty Sue of Bowling Green, and Steve Stuart and wife Darlene of Russellville; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services for Margaret Jean Nash Stuart will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Barnes and Bro. Gene Bracken officiating with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 5-8 pm and Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
